Selected for Judging at the Boardwalk Art Show, Beginner Scratchboard KIts
I am super honored to be selected as one of the 40 artists out of 200 to be judged at the Boardwalk Art Show. While I did not win an award this year I am still grateful one of my pieces, Meadow of the Watchful Owl was considered. THis was the windiest show I have ever done with WNW wind gusts of 40-50 mPH. Zach and I were near the cross street and in a total wind tunnel. Needless to say it was a stressful weekend and we had to add a bunch of other weights and remove some walls to lessen the tent racking to the side. My price tags also refused to stay on and after collecting them off the beach multiple times I just left them off our walls. I am happy that despite the wind the sun was shining and we still had a great show weekend.
I also completely sold out of my Beginning Scratchboard Kits within 4 days! I sold way more than anticipated at the boardwalk art show and I am already working on restocking. I expect the next batch of 20 to be ready on or before November 10th. I am so happy to have the opportunity to share this medium I love with others. Make sure you are subscribed to my email list so you will be the first to know when these kits are back in stock!
Starting in the new year my goal is to add one tutorial to the tutorial library each month. Covering different subject matter, or how to draw certain things. Please comment below if there is something specific you would like to see or learn about!
