Ultrasound Reveal

As soon as I started making the scratchboard ultrasounds I knew it would be a pretty awesome way to reveal that I (or anyone else) was expecting. So when I found out I was pregnant right after Thanksgiving with our third baby I knew that I was tortuously going to have to keep it a secret from my family until Christmas. With my other pregnancies I always told my mom right away so this was really, REALLY hard for me. I had the great plan to make both my parents and in-laws a scratchboard ornament of my ultrasound and write on the back " soon to be grandparents of 3". I managed to get them finished at the very last minute and the surprise couldn't have been better.  Due to the fact that the baby still looked like a tiny bean ( the ultrasound was done at 7 weeks) it took them both a minute to understand what they were looking at but the shock on their faces was unforgettable.
